Adopted in 2008, the Conceptual Development Plan outlines the corridor vision and goals and serves as a foundation for the Michigan Avenue Corridor Improvement Authority. The main goal is to improve Michigan Avenue from Grand River Avenue in East Lansing (downtown East Lansing) to Pere Marquette Street in Lansing (downtown Lansing). The conceptual redevelopment plan for the Michigan Avenue Corridor incorporates the values and ideas expressed through the public and committee process.
